Most sleep masks are a flat strip of fabric with an elastic band, and they press on your lashes all night.

Kitsch built this one with padding instead.

The satin outer is the part that matters for hair and skin, since satin does not drag the way cotton does. The padded fill keeps the mask off your lashes and brows, and the ruched elastic stretches rather than digging in, so it stays comfortable through a full night and leaves no line across your face in the morning. Light gets blocked properly, which is the actual job.

It suits anyone who sleeps in a room that is never quite dark enough, travels often, or wears lash extensions and cannot get on with a flat mask. The stretch in the elastic means it fits most head sizes without needing adjustment, and the material is gentle enough for all skin types.

Application tips

Stretch the band over the back of your head first, then settle the padded panel down so the edges sit flat against your cheekbones and the bridge of your nose. The ruching takes up the slack, so there should be no need to tug it tight.

Wash it by hand in cool water and lay it flat to dry. Heat is what kills satin.

Results

The padding is deep enough that nothing presses on your lashes, which matters if you have extensions or simply wake up with mascara smeared inside a flat mask. Light gets blocked properly at the nose, where thin masks let it leak in.

Satin against the skin means no crease lines pressed into your face by morning.

Composition

The full INCI is printed on the pack. We publish it here as soon as the brand supplies it, and we will read it off the bottle for you if you ask.
