On curls, MOUSSE DEF gives definition, volume and a medium to firm hold that survives a British afternoon. Distribute it liberally through damp hair, smoothing from root to ends. On straight and blow-dried styles it does something else entirely: a quarter-sized amount worked into the edges before drying adds shine and control and keeps humidity from undoing the work.
Natural humectants and silk protein are behind both. The humectants handle moisture, the silk protein strengthens and keeps the finish soft rather than crisp. The formula is vegan.
Useful if you switch between wearing your hair curly and wearing it straight and would rather not buy two products to cover both.

Application tips
For curls, shake it well and work a palmful through damp hair, smoothing each section downward.
For a sleek finish, a much smaller amount along the edges before you blow-dry does the job. Either way, let it dry undisturbed. It layers over a gel happily and works alone on second-day hair.
