Application tips
Pour a pool into the palm, rub the hands together, then rake it through with fingers spread so it reaches the roots as well as the length. Because it pours rather than scoops, you can cover a whole head before the first section starts drying.
Follow with a definer or a gel if you want more hold, or leave it alone and let it dry. On second-day hair, wet the hands and smooth what is left of it back into shape.
Results
Coils drink it in without the greasy film a thick cream can leave near the roots. The curl pattern reads more even once dry, and the shrinkage that comes with thirsty hair eases off a little. Next morning it is still pliable, easy to part or pick out without a fresh soaking, which is the practical test for any leave-in on a full head of texture.
