Apply to damp hair, concentrate on the last few inches, and comb through from the bottom up. Used daily it keeps the ends pliable, and pliable ends are what let you keep length instead of trimming it back every few months.

Application tips
Straight after a wash, on hair still dripping, because the lotion holds water in rather than adding it. Shake, dispense a palmful, and rake it through in four sections.
Follow with a cream or a gel if you are styling, or leave it as the only thing on the hair for a wash-and-go. Mid-week on dry hair, spritz with water first and then apply.
Results
Hair stays soft for days rather than hours, and brittle lengths stop feeling like straw inside a couple of washes.
Detangling gets far easier, which is the practical difference on tightly coiled hair. Frizz settles, the ends look less see-through, and strands hold together better under a comb. It sinks in without a greasy film, so styling can go straight over the top.
