Shea Edges is the conditioning version of the Shine 'n Jam edge range. Shea butter sits in the formula alongside the hold, and it changes how the product feels on the hairline: less tight as it dries, and easier on hair that gets brushed and laid every single morning.
The hold is firm and stands up in humidity, which is where most edge products fail. It does not flake and it does not go greasy, so a laid edge still looks laid at six in the evening rather than fuzzing out by lunchtime.
The jar is 2.25 oz, small enough for a handbag and big enough to last months at a fingertip a day. Brush it onto damp edges, shape, tie a scarf over it and leave it for ten minutes. Works across every texture from 2c to 4c.

Application tips
A small jar, which makes it the one to carry. Use a fingertip's worth at most, worked into the front of a dry hairline and shaped with a brush or the edge of a comb.
It suits touch-ups more than a full lay from scratch, so it earns its place in a bag for the middle of the day. Warm it between the fingers first if the tub has been somewhere cold.
Results
Holds the front down all day without stiffening it, so the hairline still moves and will not crack when brushed out. It goes on clear and stays clear, with no specking along the front.
The shea gives it a richer feel than a plain gel, and the hairline is left conditioned rather than dry once it has been washed off.
