It sets hard and holds through the day without the white flaking that ruins a fresh style, and it is not greasy, so hair keeps its own shine rather than looking wet. The conditioning side of the formula means hair does not feel stripped when you wash it out. Where it earns its keep is on the styles that have to stay put: laid edges, tight ponytails, twists, locs and the base of a braid install.
Apply with a brush or your fingers to the section you want smoothed, tie it down if you want it flatter, and let it dry before you move on.

Application tips
Firmest in the range, so less goes further. Take a small amount on the fingers or a boar brush and put it only where the grip is needed: the hairline, the crown before a bun, the section about to be plaited.
Smooth in one direction. Bind a scarf across the front for a quarter of an hour to press it flatter, then leave everything to dry properly before the style goes anywhere.
