It sets hard and holds through the day without the white flaking that ruins a fresh style, and it is not greasy, so hair keeps its own shine rather than looking wet. The conditioning side of the formula means hair does not feel stripped when you wash it out. Where it earns its keep is on the styles that have to stay put: laid edges, tight ponytails, twists, locs and the base of a braid install.
Apply with a brush or your fingers to the section you want smoothed, tie it down if you want it flatter, and let it dry before you move on.
