Application tips
Three minutes is the stated time and it is worth setting a timer, because a masque left on longer than a conditioner needs is not doing more.
Squeeze the water out of clean hair before it goes on, otherwise it slides. Take it through in sections with a wide-tooth comb, ends upward. Rinse until the roots feel clean but the ends still feel slippery.
Results
Softer, and noticeably easier to comb, with the frizz sitting flat rather than haloing. Definition sharpens because the strand is smoother.
The shine that follows is a surface effect rather than an oil left on top. Dry, unruly lengths behave for longer between washes, and colour-treated or heat-worn hair feels less rough at the ends.
