SCurl Curl Activator Moisturizer
Texturised hair sits in an awkward place. Looser than its natural pattern, but still needing the moisture routine of textured hair, and the products aimed at either extreme do not quite fit. This one is made for that middle ground, and it works just as well on natural curls.
The format is a pump spray with a no-drip formula, so it lands on the hair instead of running down your neck. Glycerin sits high in the ingredients and pulls moisture into the strand, panthenol adds slip, and argan and olive oil soften and add shine. No parabens, no mineral oil.
Hold the pump about six inches from the hair and spray evenly, then massage it in with your fingertips and style as usual. Daily is fine, and so is whenever the curls start to feel dry.
Type 2c through 4b, on natural coils or on hair that has been texturised and needs keeping soft between treatments.

Application tips
Part the hair into four before you start, because a spray only reaches what it can see and the underneath is where dryness sits. Work through one section at a time, spraying and then smoothing it in with the pads of your fingers rather than your nails. Good at night under a scarf as well as in the morning. If hair feels tacky, you have sprayed twice where once would have done.
Results
Coils plump back up and the pattern becomes visible again on hair that had gone dull and undefined.
The feel gives it away: soft and pliable rather than slick, with no residue left on the palms. On texturised hair it keeps the loosened pattern from drying out between treatments, and on natural hair it works as a straightforward daily moisturiser.
