Boar bristle does something nylon does not. The fibre is close enough in structure to hair that it lifts natural oil off the scalp and drags it down the strand, which is why a boar brushed head looks polished with nothing put on it.
The BOR15 is the club shape, so it has a handle and an oval head, and the bristle bed is curved to keep contact as it travels over the sides. All the bristles are boar and all of them are soft, which makes this a smoothing and finishing brush rather than a laying one. It glides through dry hair, takes the fuzz off, seals the surface down and leaves it shining.
Fine and medium textures will get the most from it. Coarse hair should use it last in the routine, after a firmer brush has done the moving.
