Application tips
Gel first, spritz second. Smooth the gel through damp hair with the brush, working in sections and shaping edges while everything is still wet. Let the style dry fully.
Only then does the spritz go on, held back from the head and misted over the surface rather than aimed at one patch. Brush the top lightly afterwards to knock down anything that has set stiff.
Results
Slip is what the gel buys you, enough to smooth a section without snagging, and the spritz locks the shape once everything has dried.
Between them they hold a sleek style, a laid edge or an up-do through an evening. Olive oil in the gel keeps hair from feeling parched under the hold, which is usually where cheaper gels give themselves away.
