Application tips
Mix first, colour and developer together in the bowl, until no streaking is left. Section into four using the pointed end of a handle.
The wide brush handles lengths and full-head work. Switch to the comb brush where placement has to be exact, at the roots, in foils, or along a balayage edge. Rinse all three straight after use, before anything has a chance to set, and dry them before they go back in the drawer.
Results
Colour lands where you meant it to land, which is most of what separates a tidy home job from a patchy one. The bowl keeps the mix off worktops and lets you see how much is left.
Roots get covered without product creeping onto lengths that do not need it, and the comb edge lifts fine, even weaves for highlights. All three wash clean and come back out for the next touch-up.
