Application tips
Wet or damp hair only. Take a palmful, emulsify it between your hands until it goes clear, then rake it through a section with your fingers and follow with a wide-tooth comb to spread it evenly.
Scrunch upward if you want curl clumps, smooth downward if you want it sleek. Air dry or diffuse. Adding more on top of a dry cast is what makes gel flake.
Results
Aloe gels sit at the flexible end of the hold scale, which suits looser curls and waves better than a hard freeze gel would. Definition is clean without a shell.
Curls stay soft to the touch straight away, so there is no cast to break. Frizz stays down through a humid day and the hair keeps its shine. On a second day it revives with water rather than needing a fresh application.
