Application tips
On a wash day, warm a small amount between the palms and press it into soaking wet curls section by section, cupping each one upwards so the pattern forms before it dries. Do not comb afterwards.
Between washes, wet your fingertips, take a much smaller amount and work it only into the pieces that have lost their shape, twisting each around a finger. Give it a minute to set rather than fiddling while it dries.
Results
Curls that had gone loose and shapeless come back together in defined pieces, with enough softness left in them that they still move.
The cream sinks in rather than sitting on top, so there is no hard cast to crack the next morning and no white flecks left in dark hair. Dryness eases along the whole length. Shape is the visible part, though the reason it holds is that the hair is less parched underneath.
