A curl cream is the moisture step, not the hold step. This 150ml cream is for the part of wash day where hair is soaking and you want softness and shape before anything sets.
It works into wet hair without dragging, and the finish stays soft to the touch rather than tacky. Used on its own it gives loose definition. Layered under a gel it stops the gel feeling dry on the ends.

For most textures a couple of pumps on soaking hair is enough. Suits 2c through 4c, and finer curls should start with less than they think they need.

Application tips
Damp hair, evenly distributed, and less than you would use of a leave-in. A cream this rich goes further than it looks, so start with a ten-pence blob for shoulder length.
Emulsify in the palms, then glide it over the outside of each section before raking through. Scrunch, then diffuse or air dry. Layer a gel over it if you want firmer hold.
Results
Curls read softer and better fed, with the frizz halo gone and each clump holding its own shape. The finish is smooth and shiny without being wet-looking.
It is a conditioning cream first and a styler second, so hold is light. On coarse or very dry hair it takes the edge off straight away; fine hair should use very little or it will drop.
