A conditioner gel is a hybrid, and the reason to want one is that it collapses two steps into a single application. Moisture from the conditioner side, hold and definition from the gel side, out of one 16 oz bottle.
ORS aim it specifically at medium to high porosity hair, which is the practical detail worth catching. Porous hair takes water in fast and loses it just as fast, so it needs a leave-in that seals as well as hydrates. Olive oil and honey handle the conditioning, biotin and ginger root work on the feel and strength of the strand, and argan and coconut oils bring the shine. Rosemary oil is in there too. Apply to damp hair in sections and style straight from it, no rinsing. The hold is flexible rather than crisp, so twist-outs and wash-and-go styles both work.

Application tips
One product doing two jobs means you can skip the usual layering, so resist adding a cream underneath it. Wet hair, four sections, a generous squeeze into each and smoothed down with flat palms.
Comb through, scrunch, then let it dry. Midweek, mist a section with water and run a small amount over the ends to bring the curl back.
Results
The gel side gives shape and the conditioner side stops that shape feeling crisp, so curls hold without a cast to crack. Porous lengths keep their water for longer, which shows up as hair that is still soft at bedtime.
Argan and coconut put a real gloss on the surface, and definition survives a night on a pillow.
