A souffle is a gel with air whipped into it, which is why this one spreads more like a mousse and does not leave the hair feeling coated.
The job is definition with moisture attached. Curls and waves get shape and clump properly, but the finish stays soft instead of drying out into a crunchy cast. Water, glycerin, polyquaternium-37 and VP/VA copolymer are the ingredients doing the work, glycerin for hydration and the polymers for hold and slip.
Apply it to towel-dried hair in sections, comb it through or rake it in with your fingers, style as usual and let the hair dry fully before you touch it. The 16oz tub lasts a while unless your hair is very long or very dense. Built for wavy, curly and coily textures that need moisture as much as they need hold.

Application tips
Apply while the hair is still very wet, blotted at most. Scoop a golf-ball amount, smooth it over each section with flat palms, then scrunch upwards until it starts to clump.
Leave the hair alone while it dries. If a light cast forms, scrunch it out with a drop of oil on your hands once everything is bone dry.
Results
Definition arrives without stiffness. Curls clump into proper pieces and keep their shape, and the finish is soft to the touch once the cast is broken.
Frizz stays down through the day and the hair keeps enough moisture that it does not feel crisp by evening. A 16oz tub lasts months on shorter hair and a couple of months on long, thick curls.
