Edges, ponytails and the flat parts of a braided style need a small pot of something strong. This is that pot, and a little of it goes a long way.
Honey is an emollient, which is why it turns up in a hold product. It softens the hair while the waxes do the gripping. Certified organic lavender wax and rice bran wax handle the hold, and ginger gives the scent its warmth. Wax behaves differently to a water based gel: it grips without going crisp, and it brushes back out at the end of the day.
Apply to the edges and smooth with your fingertips, a small toothbrush or an edge brush until you have the shape you want. It suits type 2c through type 4b textures, and it is the sensible companion to a fresh braid or a slicked ponytail. 4oz.

Application tips
Warm a fingertip's worth between thumb and finger until it turns glossy, then press it onto the hairline, never dragging it across. Shape with a soft brush in short strokes, tie a scarf over the top and give it ten minutes. On a ponytail, use it on the crown and the sides after the tie is already in, not before.
Results
Edges stay exactly where you brushed them, through a full day and into a second if you re-tie the scarf overnight. The finish is soft to touch and never crisp, so there is nothing to crack or shed down your forehead.
Braids look neater along the parting. A brush shifts it at night without needing a wash to help.
