Application tips
Bunch everything up and forward, then bring the cap over the front hairline and roll the band back to the nape. On very long hair, coil the length into a loose bun first so it is not pressing against the plastic.
For a treatment, put it on straight after the product goes in, while the hair is still warm from the shower. Give it the time the label asks for, then rinse the cap and stand it upside down to dry.
Results
A style survives a wash that was never meant to include it. Rollers, a set of flat twists or a fresh silk press all come out the other side dry and undisturbed.
Used over a conditioner, the closed space stays warm and damp, which keeps the product moving into the hair rather than stiffening on top of it. You notice it afterwards in how easily the hair combs.
