Soft bristles on an oval head with a handle. This is a finishing brush, and it is the flat bedded soft club rather than the curved one.
Soft means the bristles bend under load, so they smooth the surface of a style, lift the fuzz off a set and move oil down the strand without dragging at the roots. It is comfortable through a long session and forgiving on a scalp that reacts badly to firmer bristles. On fine hair it can carry the whole routine on its own. On dense or coarse hair it belongs at the end, once something harder has done the moving.
The flat bed also makes it easier to use on longer hair than a curved one, since the contact strip stays the same width all the way down a section instead of rolling off at the edges.
Daily use, dry hair, light pressure. Wash it every few weeks and let it dry with the bristles facing down.
