The 7728 is the roller brush with a rubberised handle, and that is the whole reason to choose it over the plain version. Wet hands and a smooth plastic grip do not get on, and a brush that rotates a quarter turn mid blow dry ruins the section you were halfway through.
Everything else is standard roller brush. A round barrel, heat resistant nylon bristles in even rows, and enough spacing to get through a thick section without stalling. It lifts at the root while you dry, turns the ends under or out depending on which way you finish, and leaves the surface smooth because the bristles are combing while they pull.
It suits any texture that gets blow dried. Take sections no wider than the barrel and dry each one properly before you move on to the next.
