Short natural styles need definition more than they need hold, and this gel is built for shaping coils, curls and waves rather than locking them rigid. It sculpts short looks with structure that still moves, which is the difference between defined and set solid.
Vitamin B5 is the conditioning ingredient, adding softness and lifting the hair's natural lustre. The gel absorbs quickly and stays non-greasy, and it is formulated to avoid the sticky build-up, tackiness and flaking that put people off gels in the first place. Frizz control holds up in humidity.

How to use it
Dispense the amount you need into your palm and rub your hands together, then work it right through damp or dry hair. Adjust the quantity for length, thickness and how much hold you want. Define and sculpt with whatever method suits you, finger coiling, scrunching or brush styling, then air dry or diffuse.

Application tips
Damp hair, not dripping. Emulsify a small amount between warm palms so it lands evenly and not in patches. Smooth over the outside of the shape first and press what remains into the crown.
A soft brush pushes the definition further on a short cut. Let it dry down fully, and skip the pick entirely if you want the pattern to stay tight.
Results
Short shapes keep their outline without going rigid, so the hair still moves when you turn your head. Coils read as separate rather than merged.
Flyaways stay put through a muggy afternoon. The finish leans matte with a light natural sheen, and nothing tacky is left on the surface once it has dried.
