Luster's Pink Smooth & Hold Edge Gel 4.5oz
Coarse hairlines need more grip than fine ones, and most edge gels are formulated for the latter. This one is built for hair that resists being laid down. It comes out of the Luster's Pink line, which has been doing that particular job on textured hair for a very long time.
The hold is strong and it lasts, and it does that without the stiffness or the white residue that usually comes with strength. It smooths the hairline, sculpts the edges and tidies the nape, which makes it useful beyond the front of the head. Short cuts, sleek ponytails and updos all benefit from a neat perimeter.
Work it in with a soft brush along the hairline, then wrap a scarf over it for five minutes while it sets. The 4.5oz jar is generous for something you apply in small amounts, so it will outlast most tubs on the shelf.
