Honey is a humectant, which is the useful thing about it. It pulls water towards the hair and holds it there instead of letting it evaporate, and that is a different job from an oil sitting on the surface.
Lottabody pair it with milk proteins in a 300ml cream conditioner for hair dried out by heat, colour or weather. The texture is thick, so it clings to the sections you put it on, and it is rich enough to work as a short treatment rather than only a rinse-out.

Application tips
As a quick conditioner it needs three minutes. As a deep treatment, put a plastic cap on and leave it twenty, with a warm towel over the top if you have one.
Either way, detangle while it is on, working from the ends up in four sections. Rinse under cool water. Once a week is enough for most hair, twice if it is bleached.
Results
Dry hair softens noticeably in one use and holds that softness for a few days. The lengths feel plumper, curls stretch further before they resist, and the ends stop snapping when you twist them round a finger.
Humectants work with the weather, so on a very dry winter day pair it with an oil on top to hold the moisture in.
