A polisher is a finishing product, used at the end once the style is already done. This one is a coconut creme, which puts it between an oil and a pomade in weight: enough substance to smooth a frizzy braid, not enough to leave the hair greasy.
Coconut oil does the conditioning work and the shine comes with it, so the gloss reads as healthy hair rather than a film sitting on top. It smooths flyaways along a parting, tidies the ends of twists and braids, and puts sheen back into locs that have gone dull between washes.
