Application tips
Blonde hair sits differently to natural hair in the shower. It swells more, tangles faster and needs a lighter touch throughout.
Work a small amount at the roots only and let it run down. Do not pile the lengths on top of your head and scrub, which is where most bleached hair gets damaged. Rinse in tepid water rather than hot. Follow with a conditioner or mask every wash, without exception, on lengths this porous.
Results
The wash leaves blonde looking clearer rather than cloudy. Dullness lifts, and hair picks up light along the length instead of at a few patches.
Bleached lengths come out of the rinse softer to handle and easier to separate. There is no squeaky, stripped feeling at the ends, which is the usual complaint about washing lightened hair. It cleanses without pulling tone, so a fresh salon colour keeps its depth for longer between visits.
