Keracare Humecto Creme Conditioner 16 oz / 473 ml - For Dry, Brittle Hair
Humecto is the KeraCare product people reorder without thinking about it.
It is a creme conditioner for hair that has gone genuinely dry: brittle at the ends, rough to the touch, snapping when you comb it. Rather than coating the surface it goes after the moisture deficit itself, and the change you notice is in porosity. Hair left rough and open drinks product and then loses it again. Smooth that surface down and the moisture stays where you put it. Combing gets easier, static stops, and the ends stop fraying so fast.
The 473ml tub is the size most people settle on once they know they like it. It carries a distinctive fragrance that makes the conditioning step feel less like a chore. Good on 2c through 4b hair, and worth using as a weekly deep condition rather than at every wash if your hair is on the fine side.

Application tips
Wash first, then get the water out of the hair before this goes on, because a diluted deep conditioner is a wasted one. Section into four, coat each one thickly from the ears down, and comb it through with a wide tooth.
Cap on, twenty minutes, heat if you have it. Rinse cool. Weekly rather than every wash on fine hair.
Results
The mechanism is porosity, not coating. A cuticle roughed open by heat or hard water starts holding onto what you put in it, so moisture is still in the strand two days later rather than gone by the time the hair dries.
Split ends slow down. Static disappears. Combing runs easier wet and dry, and the fragrance is why people describe this step as a pleasure rather than a job.
