It is a clear moisturising gel rather than a styling cream, and it layers well over a leave in. Applied to wet hair in sections, it clumps curls together and dries down without the white flaking or sticky film that cheaper gels leave along the hairline. Coils come out firmer and hold their shape through the week rather than collapsing by day two.
Best used on hair that is properly wet, not damp. Rake it through, then either scrunch or smooth depending on the finish you want, and let it dry fully before you touch it.
Sits well on 2c to 4a textures that want definition with real hold behind it. The 473 ml bottle will last a while unless you are wash and going every few days.
