Curl activators went out of fashion with the jheri curl and came back because they solve a problem nothing else does. They get definition into dry, days-old hair without wetting it down and starting over.
Coconut oil and Jamaican black castor oil carry the moisture. The formula runs light where a pomade or a wax stick would be heavy, so curls get flexible hold and hydration without a sticky film sitting on top.
Frizz is the main thing it settles. Hair that has gone fluffy on day three tightens back into a defined pattern, and it holds up in humidity better than a water-based refresher does.
355ml bottle. Use it on wash day to set fresh curls, or scrunch it into dry hair to revive a style mid-week. Either way, a small amount goes further than you expect.
It suits type 2c through type 4b hair, and it is a good option if your curls flatten under heavier creams.

Application tips
Dry hair, mid week: a coin sized amount into the palms, then scrunch upward into whichever sections have gone fluffy. Do not rake it in, or the pattern comes apart before it can reform.
Wash day is a different job. Apply to soaking wet hair in sections, shape the curls how you want them, then dry undisturbed and keep your hands off.
Results
Day three hair tightens up again. The fluff draws in, the halo drops, and the curl reads defined without you having wet the whole head down and started over.
Hold stays flexible rather than fixed, so the hair still moves. Nothing sticky is left behind. Damp weather does less to it than it does to a water based refresher.
