Application tips
This is the touch-up jar. Between full retwists, work a little into the four or five locs at the front that always come loose first, roll them, and leave the rest alone.
A cotton bud is useful for getting gel exactly onto new growth without spreading it down the loc. Travelling, keep it upright in a bag; the lid screws on but the gel is soft enough to travel if the jar tips.
Results
The front of the head stops letting the style down. Loose roots at the hairline tighten back up and the whole set looks maintained rather than three weeks overdue.
Hold is the same firm, clear hold as the big jar, and it washes out just as easily. Nothing chalky shows up on dark locs as it dries, and the roots stay flexible enough to redo without soaking them first.
