Application tips
Gel works on wet hair, not damp and definitely not dry. Comb the hair into shape first, then run a walnut-sized amount through with the comb rather than your hands so the lines stay sharp. Let it set on its own or hit it briefly with a dryer on cool. Once it is dry, leave it. A 700ml tub is barber sized, so decant some into a smaller pot for travel.
Results
The hold is maximum in the literal sense, and a sharp part or a comb-over stays exactly where it was set until you wash it out. Shine is high and glassy rather than matte. It does not flake white through the day or leave the hair feeling gritty. On thick hair it holds a shape that a lighter product would give up on by mid-morning.
