WAVEZ approaches the same look differently. Coconut water carries the formula, so hair picks up the tousled, undone texture without the drying that salt brings. Application tips
Damp hair, not dripping. Mist it over the lengths, then twist the hair into two loose plaits and leave them until it is nearly dry. Take them out and shake through with your fingers. Skip the roots unless you want the wave to start high on the head. On straight hair, a curling wand first and this over the top holds the shape far longer.
Results
The texture is soft and loose rather than gritty, and the hair still feels like hair rather than rope. Waves that already exist come out more defined. Fine hair picks up body without going crisp. None of the dryness a salt spray leaves at the ends turns up here, so it suits textures that are dry to begin with.
