Underneath the fragrance it is a serious strong-hold wax.
Water-soluble, so it washes out in one go without the residue an oil-based wax leaves behind after three shampoos, and it adds shine and texture without a greasy feel.
The hold lasts the day. A sharp side part, a textured quiff or a slicked style all stay where you put them, which is what a barber-grade product is supposed to do. The scent settles back over a few hours, so it is not still announcing itself at dinner.

Application tips
Dry hair, always. Take a fingertip's worth from the jar, emulsify it between the palms until it goes clear, then work it in from the back and sides forward, finishing at the front where you want the most control.
Aqua wax grabs on contact, so build up in small amounts. Adding water to your hands as you go loosens it and lets you restyle.
Results
Firm, sculpted hold with a gloss finish rather than a matte one. Spikes, quiffs and defined crops hold their shape all day without going crunchy. The bubblegum scent is sweet and unmistakable, which is either the reason to buy it or the reason not to. It washes out under water alone, so nothing builds up on the scalp by the weekend.
