Application tips
For a bun, twist the ponytail into a rope, coil it round the base, and use the scrunchie to catch the whole coil in one wrap, then a second if it needs it. On thicker hair stop at two wraps rather than forcing a third, since a stretched scrunchie loses its spring faster. Slide it off downwards over the length rather than dragging it up over the ends.
Results
Ponytails hold without the pinch. No thin line of tension digs into one narrow band of hair, so the crease is soft or absent, and at night it slides free rather than snagging.
