The Fine Lines paddle is a large black plastic head with flexible nylon bristles set far enough apart to move through a thick section without stacking hair up in front of them. Application tips
Brush the underneath first and the top last, so the surface layer is the final thing you touch and stays smooth. During a blow dry, keep the brush flat against the head and follow it with the nozzle pointing down the hair rather than into it. Clean the bed out weekly. A paddle collects shed hair and lint down between the pins, and a clogged brush drags where a clear one glides.
Results
The head comes out flat and even, which is the whole reason a paddle exists. Long strokes settle the cuticle in one direction, so light bounces off the surface rather than scattering, and a blow dry looks finished rather than merely dry.
The wide bed covers a lot of ground quickly on thick hair. Rounded tips mean you can lean on the scalp without scratching it.
