Application tips
The trick with a claw clip is the twist. Gather the section, turn it once or twice on itself, fold the tail up against the head, then open the jaw wide and let it close over the fold rather than clamping onto loose hair.
Take it out by opening it fully first. Yanking a closed clip out of a section is where breakage comes from, not the clip itself.
Results
Sections stay where you put them while you work on the rest, which is most of what a styling session needs. The bite is firm without leaving a dent, so a clip taken out after an hour leaves no ridge behind.
