PVP and carbomer give the hold, firm but without the crunch or white flaking that ruins a set. Sorbitol and propylene glycol are the humectants that keep it pliable. Vitamins A, D and E are all in the formula, with vitamin E acting as the antioxidant, and panthenol adds hydration. Thermal cover runs to 232°C (450°F).

How to use it
Take a dime-sized amount on clean, damp or towel-dried hair and spread it evenly through the mid-lengths and ends. Keep it off the roots unless you want lift at the scalp. Style with your heat tools at the lowest temperature that works. For a firmer set, use a little more on the sections that need it.

Application tips
One product doing two jobs means the order changes. Apply it before the dryer rather than after, working it through wet hair in sections so the whole head is covered before any heat lands.
Comb it flat, then dry with tension. The hold sets as the hair dries, so shape the style during the blow dry rather than trying to adjust it afterwards.
