Application tips
Hook a finger through the ring and let the comb hang there while your other hand works, which is what the ring is for.
Use the tail end to draw a parting, then lift and hold the section with the teeth while you clip the rest out of the way. For a hairline, work in short strokes with the comb almost flat rather than digging in at an angle.
Results
Partings come out straight, and a section stays lifted without a second person holding it. Rounded teeth mean the comb parts hair rather than dragging a rough edge along the shaft, so the ends do not fray where you have been working.
