Application tips
Brush or finger comb the front section back first, then set the band on from the front of the head and slide it back until the ends sit just above your ears.
Push it forward half a centimetre if it feels tight, since the pressure point matters more than the position. On curls, place it rather than dragging it back, so you do not flatten the pattern behind it.
Results
The front stays put with nothing pinned into it, so there is no grip mark to comb out afterwards. A growing out fringe stops falling forward every ten minutes, and the look reads considered rather than thrown together.
Black sits quietly in dark hair and registers as a choice against lighter shades. The build holds its shape instead of widening out, so the grip in month six matches month one.
