Pure olive oil in the base does the conditioning, and it shows most on dry, dull hair, where the gel adds shine without a coated feel. Application tips
Wet hair, and by that I mean dripping. Gel on damp hair gives a cast without the definition. Smooth a palmful over a section with flat hands, then rake or scrunch depending on the shape you want.
Do not touch it again until it is bone dry. Break the hardened cast with your hands or a drop of oil, and the curls underneath will be soft.
Results
Hold that lasts several days and a shine that comes from the olive oil rather than from a plastic film. Frizz stays flat, edges lie down, and the definition survives a night on a pillow if you tie it up.
