The formula carries argan oil, which is there to stop the hairline drying out under repeated gel use and to put some shine on the finish. That second job is easy to overlook. The hair along the hairline is the finest on your head, it gets brushed and gelled more often than anything else, and it is usually the first place breakage shows. Held edges stay put for up to 24 hours without going stiff or turning white and flaky as they dry, which is the usual complaint with strong gels.
Brush it along the hairline, lay the hair in the shape you want, then tie a scarf over it for a few minutes while it sets. It works on type 2c through 4c, relaxed or natural, and it earns its keep under wigs, buns and slicked-back styles where the edges are the finished detail everyone sees. 4oz.
