Mineral oil has a reputation it mostly does not deserve. It does not penetrate the strand, which is the criticism, but sealing is not penetration, and for holding moisture inside coily hair it is one of the most reliable things there is. Design Essentials use it here as the base of a vitamin-enriched hair and scalp oil.
The vitamins are the rest of the formula. Vitamin E as tocopheryl acetate protects the scalp and the strand from environmental and oxidative stress. Vitamin A supports the scalp's own sebum, which is the moisturiser it makes for itself.
The result is a light oil that adds a strong shine and leaves no residue on the hands. On dry, dull, coily hair that shine is often the thing missing, and it is what makes hair read as healthy from across a room.

Application tips
The dropper is there for a reason. Place it along the parting rather than pouring, work round the head in rows, and massage in with the fingertips.
On the lengths, a few drops rubbed between the palms and smoothed over dry hair is enough for shine. Between washes it can go on as often as the scalp asks for it. Roots first, ends after.
