The hold is light to medium. Glycerin and propylene glycol draw moisture in so curls stay flexible rather than brittle, and PEG-75 Lanolin helps the hair feel smooth as you work through it. Frizz stays down and the style stays tidy, but you can still run a hand through it afterwards without cracking anything.
Gel on children's hair has a bad name because most of it dries hard and then flakes down the back of a school jumper. This one keeps enough moisture in the formula to stay soft, so the style brushes out at the end of the day without a fight. Smooth it through damp hair in sections, shape with fingers, a brush or a comb, then let it dry fully before touching it. Application tips
Gel wants wet hair, not damp. Apply in sections with a brush for a slick ponytail or an edge, fingers for definition, and smooth in one direction only, never back and forth.
Let it dry undisturbed, then scrunch the cast out with dry hands or a drop of oil. Touching it halfway through drying is what causes frizz, not the gel itself.
