It adds body as well, which matters on hair gone limp from heat or build-up, and it smooths enough to stop frizz wrecking the set overnight.

Application tips
No diluting and no measuring, it comes ready mixed.
Damp hair, one section at a time, then onto rollers, flexi rods or a wrap. Let it dry the whole way through, under a hood or overnight. Unwrapping a set while any of it is damp is how a good set turns to frizz.
Results
The hold is firm without crossing into hard. A roller set holds its shape, and there is still movement in the hair when you take the rollers out.
Hair flattened by heat or old product picks up body again. Overnight, the set does not fuzz. There is conditioning running underneath all of this, so a setting lotion does not have to mean dried-out hair by the morning.
