Creme of Nature Pure Honey Hair Food Pure Delight Sulfate-Free Cleanser 12 oz / 355 ml - For Damaged, Dry & Over-Processed Hair
Over-processed hair does not need a stronger shampoo, it needs a gentler one. Colour, relaxer and heat all leave the cuticle porous, and a sulphate wash on top of that takes out more than it should. A conditioning cleanser is the sensible swap, and this one suits textures from type 2c to 4b.
It lathers, which is unusual for the category. Plenty of sulphate-free washes feel like rubbing lotion through your hair and leave you unsure whether anything happened. Pure Delight foams enough to spread easily and rinse cleanly, so the hair does not tangle while you are washing it.
Honey, coconut oil and shea butter sit underneath the cleansing. The result is hair that feels supple after rinsing rather than squeaky, which is what you want on damaged or dry lengths.
The texture sits between a shampoo and a conditioner, thick coming out of the bottle and thinning as it meets water. Work it into the scalp with your fingertips and let the run-off take care of the lengths.
12 oz bottle, and safe on colour-treated hair. Use it as your regular wash and keep a clarifying shampoo for once a month if you go heavy on oils and butters.

Application tips
Thick out of the bottle and thinner once it meets water, so wet the hair first.
Work it into the scalp in rows and let it spread down. It lathers, which means you can distribute it without rubbing the lengths together. One wash is usually enough. Rinse thoroughly and follow with a conditioner or a mask.
Results
Rinse it out and the hair is pliable rather than squeaking, and pliable is the whole ask on over-processed lengths.
The foam spreads and rinses cleanly, so nothing tangles while you wash, and you can tell something happened, which is more than plenty of sulphate-free washes manage. Colour, relaxer and heat leave the cuticle porous; this cleans without taking more out of it.
