Edge control and root touch-up in one 2 oz pot. The dark brown tint is what separates this from the standard Perfect Edges: it lays the hairline and colours what it lays, so grey at the temples and gaps along a part line stop showing. Best on dark brown to black hair, since anything lighter will read the tint as a shadow.
The hold is the same 24-hour extra hold as the rest of the range, with argan oil in the formula to condition the hairline while it holds. It does not flake, and there is no white cast of buildup by the evening.
Expect it to behave like a styling product with colour in it rather than a dye. The tint sits on the hair and washes out, so there is nothing to commit to and nothing to grow out. It also means it will transfer onto a light pillowcase or a white collar if you apply it heavily and do not let it dry first.
Apply with a fingertip or a small brush, smooth a scarf over it for a few minutes, then leave it alone. Wash it out properly rather than layering fresh product over yesterday's.
