Control glue sits somewhere between a gel and a pomade, and this one has the putty-like texture that makes it easy to place exactly where you want it. Use it on edges, on twist-outs, or anywhere a section needs to stay put. A small scoop goes a long way.

How to use it
Work on clean hair, dry or slightly damp, free of heavy buildup. Scoop a small amount onto your fingertips and start conservatively, adding more if you need it. For edges, apply along the hairline and smooth with a fine-tooth comb or your fingers. For twist-outs and braid-outs, coat each section before you twist or braid, then let hair dry fully, air dried or with a diffuser on cool, before you unravel.

Application tips
Warm the scoop between your fingers first; it spreads further soft than stiff and you use less of it. For edges, an edge brush places it far better than a fingertip.
Lay the pattern, then tie a scarf over the top for ten minutes and let it set.
On twist-outs it goes on section by section as you twist, not over the finished style. Shampoo takes it out; water alone will not.
Results
Edges stay laid through a full day and a commute, which is the only test that counts. Nothing turns white or crumbles at the hairline as it dries.
Set styles keep their shape overnight and come out the next morning still defined. There is sheen rather than wet-look gloss, and the hair underneath stays soft enough to take down without snapping.
