Coconut oil is one of the few oils that genuinely penetrates the hair shaft rather than sitting on top of it.
That is why it turns up in so many conditioners for textured hair, and it is what Creme of Nature has built this one around, using certified natural coconut oil in a rich, creamy base. The immediate effect is slip. Knots loosen on contact rather than needing to be picked apart, which matters most on 2C to 4B hair where combing dry is not an option and combing wet without product costs you handfuls. Underneath the detangling there is proper conditioning going on, so the hair comes out softer and shinier than it went in, and stays that way for a day or two rather than an hour.

Application tips
After shampoo, on hair still dripping. Section it, apply, then detangle with fingers or a wide-tooth comb while the conditioner is on and everything is slippery.
Start at the ends and work upward. Leave it two minutes, then rinse. Never take a comb to this hair dry, before or after.
Results
Tangles give way under your fingers instead of having to be teased open one at a time.
The softness afterwards outlasts the shower by a good couple of days rather than fading by teatime. On 4b textures the visible difference is how little collects on the comb. The time it takes off a wash is the part people notice before anything else.
