Sulphates strip. That is the whole point of them, and on curls and coils that already struggle to hold moisture it is usually more cleaning than the hair needs. This one leaves them out.
You still get a proper wash. Build-up, oil and old product come off, but the hair does not squeak or feel tight afterwards, and colour holds better wash to wash. Argan Oil from Morocco carries the conditioning side, so there is enough slip in it to start detangling in the shower.

Application tips
Sulphate-free lather is thinner, so it needs help. Wet the hair properly, apply in three or four places around the scalp rather than one, and expect to use more than you would with a foaming shampoo.
Massage the scalp, let the runoff clean the lengths, and wash twice if you have been wearing gel or a heavy butter. Follow with the conditioning treatment while the hair is still wet.
Results
Hair comes out clean without the tight, stripped feeling that follows a strong detergent. The scalp is genuinely washed rather than lightly rinsed, which co-washing alone does not always manage.
Colour lasts longer between salon visits. Curls keep their moisture through the rest of the routine rather than starting from empty, so everything you put on afterwards works better.
