A shampoo has one job it cannot afford to get wrong on textured hair, which is cleaning without taking every last bit of moisture with it. This one is built around 100% pure Moroccan Argan Oil for exactly that reason.
It lathers properly, clears build-up and old product off the scalp, and leaves enough conditioning behind that the comb does not seize halfway down. The shine it is known for turns up once the hair dries, and it is the kind that comes from a smoothed cuticle rather than from anything coating the surface.
At 12 oz / 355 ml it is the standard bottle, so it pairs neatly with the matching conditioner or with the Intensive Conditioning Treatment if your hair wants more after the wash.
Use it on type 2c through 4b, natural or relaxed. Very dry hair should follow it with a deep conditioner rather than a rinse-out. Finer hair is usually fine with this alone.

Application tips
Soak the hair first, then apply to the scalp in rows and massage with the pads of your fingers.
Let the lather run down the lengths rather than piling shampoo onto them. A second wash only if the first barely foamed. On very dry hair, use a deep treatment afterwards rather than a rinse-out conditioner, and give it the full time under a cap.
Results
The scalp feels genuinely clean and the lengths do not squeak.
Enough conditioning survives the rinse that a comb gets from root to tip without seizing halfway down. The gloss only shows itself after drying, and it is the cuticle lying flat rather than anything left behind on the surface. Finer hair is usually happy on this alone.
