The 12 oz tub is the standard size of Creme of Nature's argan oil treatment, and the one that suits most routines. 355 ml, a weekly deep treatment, and it lasts a season rather than a fortnight.
Argan oil from Morocco is the whole formula. It penetrates rather than coats, so it restores the moisture balance in hair that has dried out instead of laying a film over the top of it, and the softness holds past the next wash. It works on natural, relaxed and chemically treated hair alike.
This is the same formula as the larger tub, so choosing between them is a question of how much you get through rather than of what it does. A weekly deep treatment on shoulder-length hair will work its way through a 12 oz tub over a few months.

Application tips
Once a week, after shampooing, on hair you have squeezed most of the water out of.
Section it, apply generously, comb through, then cover with a cap for fifteen to twenty minutes. A warm towel over the cap helps. Rinse in cool water. Skip your usual rinse-out conditioner on the day you use this, rather than stacking the two.
Results
Hair that had gone rough to the touch comes back soft, and it is still soft at the next wash rather than by that evening only. Ends splitting and hair coming away from too much handling both slow down. Elasticity improves, so a wet strand stretches and returns instead of snapping under a comb. Relaxed and colour-treated hair usually shows the biggest change, since that is where the moisture balance was furthest off.
